Read the book, liked it (though not my favorite Dan Brown novel), so I decided to check out the movie... Inferno.... Ehhh, wait for rental 6/10... Book was better; they changed the story a bit, but kept it close.  Probably a better movie than the film adaptation of Da Vinci Code and Angels & Demons.

I found the books were way better as well... Ok.... I'll wait.

Well... Watched a few vids over the weekend...
But went to the flicks this morning with Mandy , Steph (eldest) and her partner Alex..

DOCTOR STRANGE

Yeah! 8 to 8.5/10.
Didn't know where it was going (which was good). A different villian... Even the quiet bits were good.
Fantastic visual effects ...
Nice little movie this one... Certainly needs to be seen on a big screen guys.

Now.... on the 'down' side....
Batman vs Superman....
Didn't like it... Pushing the FF button on the remote for most of the movie... Just didn't suck me in to the movie...
And Superman dies in the end !! sorry for spoiler ...
4.5 to 5/10 and that's pushing it.

Captain America : Civil War
Liked this... a lot... I assume most have watched it...
I don't know.... I just worked... The fight scenes... with the funny lines... Ant Man , Spiderman etc...
And the Stan Lee cameo at the end of the movie..... perfect ! Can anyone remember it ?
I felt it was more an 'Avenger' vehicle rather than Cap America.... Good none the less.

Mike and Dave need Wedding Dates.
Two brothers whose antics stuff up all parties they go to... until forced to bring dates to their sisters wedding. Their dates are worse.
Some funny parts.. some very funny parts and a lot of crud !
If I was going to watch this again... I'd be pressing the skip button to get to those funny bits... and that's it.

Stayed home and relaxed today. US Thanksgiving was yesterday and I am done with the retail craze of black Friday. Not interested in going out and dealing with that crap to buy crap that no one needs.

Watched The Legend of Tarzan. Not great, but not bad... 6½/10. Was worth the rental.

Vader is back!

Just braved a winter storm as I had pre-purchased tickets to see Rogue One:  A Star Wars Story and it did not disappoint.  Amazing story, amazing acting and probably as good as Empire in the Star Wars library.  Feel like a kid again.  WOW!

Hey Tracy ....
score ?

I give it an easy 8.5/10
Facial CGI effects were a bit weird but the rest was great.... really great !
Would I watch it again ?... Having seen the ending... hhhhhmmmm ... don't know...
But it makes you want the next installment even more !
Liked the 'robot'

Watched Hidden Figures today. In a word, phenomenal. An easy 9.5/10 from me. A little slow at times, but a wonderful story and movie worth viewing.

Might have a look at Hidden Figures tonight. Watched the first minute of La La Land... and... nnnnooooo !!!! turned it off very quickly. Jack Reacher 2 ...yeah.... was ok.... 6/10 I might struggle to watch this again... A movie like the November Man... yeah ... liked and have watched it a few times...
Here's a question for you guys... Prices on the Marvel movies... BD's eg: AntMan, Capt America and Avengers are through the roof...$40-odd for the BluRay of AntMan... and others... Can't justify the spend !!! drop $$ by 20 and I might consider it... even Joe B's early stuff is high $20's...
