Been busy.. Currently on standby . Had to get up a couple of times last night. 2 more nights then my stint is over... before a couple of hot days. The Treatment plant hates hot weather. Pretty buggered already and it's not even 10pm ! Might go to bed and fire up the audiobook on my ipod. Currently 'reading' Master & Commander. It's the first novel of the series by Patrick O'Brian. Bloody good too. Looking forward to the entire series.

Too true...
Mild weather at present but no rain. Mid 20's
We're expecting tomorrow and Friday to be quite warm then back to very low 20's over the weekend. then to be hit with a couple of high 30 deg days next week ...worse luck.

Not as hot today but still going to be an uncomfortable sleep tonight... a small scotch might help.... was outside earlier watering the plants and nearly got carried away by the mozzies. I'll get up early tomorrow and water the remainder.

Another arctic blast... or as they call it, a polar vortex, coming into Wisconsin. Wind chills will have temps colder than -40 C.

My Sympathies Andrew.
Got one more day of the rotten Micro and Ultra filtration training... EXAMS !!!!
Hope it'll be a nice cool one. Then for a stinker of a weekend.

Dave, hurry and send that water down here .... please !!!!
My water bill is going to be shocking. Looking after my plants is getting costly.
Queensland copped a cyclone I think. Maybe some of that would be nice.
Well, off to tie up some more tomatoes, then a beer....

I've got a spear point in for my lawn AL. Tea Gardens is sitting on a huge water table, bit smelly when I have the pump running, but I can have the sprinkler on for as long as I like.  Free water, just pay for the electricity to run the pump, and that's not too expensive because I had some solar panels installed.. Sorry I'm off topic and it sounds like I bragging.. I'll shut up now.

P.S. You should get a staff discount 'cause you work for the buggers!!!

All new houses here have to have a water tank installed for use with toilets, and washing machines. Adds a few thousand to construction costs.
I can help with the Gas.... ROTFLMAO

Good morning gentlemen. Yesterday and today we have spring temps for the first time in a month or so it is 0 degrees C. However it is snowing and we are to get about 10 more CM if it does not turn to rain?

Keep warm or cool folks, whichever you may need!

We actually had fog down here this morning... Won't stop it getting to nearly 40degC. The sun is out and warming things up real quick.
I'll be doing stuff indoors today the a/con will be on shortly and I'll start cleaning the 'mancave'(garage) before it gets too hot in there.
0deg is a spring temp. Joel ?..... Strewth !!! Hope you guys see some greenery soon.
Anything green here has gone brown or straw coloured. We are fighting to keep our plants alive with these constantly high temps.

Mid 30's today and same for the next couple of days.
If it gets to around 40degC on Saturday, They will call the entire round. All games will cancelled (drawn).
You would hate to be in a winning position at this stage.
