Too late!!! Already upgraded my old i7-2600K rig... Seems fine. Does not "wow" me with any offering. I do miss Windows Media Center.

Hi Smile
I too miss WMC.
The good news for those who haven't made the jump yet.
You can now install Windows 10 to other drives.
Allowing your old OS to remain. (With WMC intact.)
I may install Windows 8.1 update 2 to my PC at some point.
Though as my PC, Tablet & Mobile are now all Windows 10.
It seems unlikely.

I'll stick with my Win 8.1
No reason to upgrade...
Also... don't want to lose the player....

I use KODI on my Windows 10 Surface Pro 3 but I have not tried it with DVD's / Blurays.

I Installed the Custom build of Kodi called TVMC it has everything you need for streaming Movies etc.

Well worth looking at. I have it installed on all my PC's , Tablets etc.

Don't think you can, unless you do a complete clean install. not a 100% certain on that.

Yeah... it's good up until I get called out at around 2am in the middle of winter... so far so good... but it's happened numerous times... I get paid for those callouts... but I'd rather be in a warm toasty bed.

When I was working, on the Road Service, and was on a midnight shift, 10pm till 6am I'd be on the road till about 2pm, then if there was no work around they would send me home and then ring when a job came in, wasn't unusual to be in and out all night, although some nights I wouldn't get a job to do in the 8hrs, but that wasn't that often.

Doing!
I'm on defined benefits with my super. Supposed to be good. Because I've gone over the 30 yrs service... I don't have to put any more $$. Barwon Water still puts in a fair whack. I put some $$ in a separate amount .. prior to tax... which helps. Can't afford anymore. A couple of the other guys who are better off financially putting in heaps...
Mind you they're on a different scheme.
Some say that once you work over a certain amount of years ie 40 yrs, it's not worth working.... you could be losing money... Don't know how that works....
